I recently prepared a set of renders featuring the iconic Ferrari 512S Modulo, using the Twinmotion Beach template as a vibrant and cinematic backdrop.
The 3D model was generously made available for free by Mondlicht Studios. My goal was to capture the Modulo's radical geometry, fine details, and sculptural presence in a various natural light setting.
For those unfamiliar, the Ferrari 512S Modulo is a true one-off concept car designed by Pininfarina. The show car debuted at the 1970 Geneva Motor Show and was originally painted black, but was later repainted in the white. With its ultra-low profile, canopy-style roof, and partially covered wheels, the Modulo pushed the boundaries of car design and still feels futuristic more than 50 years later.
This exercise was all about appreciation — of both design heritage and rendering craft.
